OPTION 1
Dog Photography & Behavior Workshop
A 2–5 day retreat for 6–8 photographers, with classroom sessions and shooting blocks on your property. Hands-on work uses 2–3 vetted local dogs, always on leash.
- Read a dog’s body language and stress signals so you can anticipate movement instead of forcing poses.
- Set up your camera for fast action, with custom autofocus profiles, burst settings, and low angles.
- Choose lenses and framing to tell a story with the dog and the landscape.
- Build a portfolio of new images on location, working with local model dogs and, in some cases, participants’ own dogs.
- Screen clients and work safely with reactive or nervous dogs during a session.
- Edit your images in Lightroom and Photoshop, then get feedback in a group critique.
